2013 Boys and Girls Prizewinners

Coylton Tennis Club took advantage of the recent good weather to pack its boys and girls doubles tournaments into a single weekend. The boys tournament also needed a qualifying round for the younger players. It was a welcome change for Scottish tennis to be played in weather that rivalled the French Open.

At the end of the hottest Saturday of the year Sammy Jess and Joe McNair won the boys' event with Kieran Shannon and Craig Stobbs runners-up. The following day Monica McCrorie and Rachael Lubek took the girls' title with Millie Graham and Niamh Young runners-up.
